Best in Class Award for the Professional Photographers of Canada 2011

Hello!
Well I'm super excited to share the news that I won the "Best in Class Award for the Animal/Wildlife Category" for the PPOC (Professional Photographer's of Canada)!! I was so shocked and excited! This was the image of my cat, Shark Bait, that I had taken just before Halloween where I dressed her up in muslin strips so she looked like a mummy:)
It was great fun! Shark Bait did not agree. So I titled this image "I seriously HATE you!".
I feel so honored to have won the award and I'm excited to share with you the winning image:)

Baby Danika 2011

Happy New Year!! It's 2011 and I'm super excited for what this year has to come;)

I started off the year with a wonderful baby session. Sharing the day with Roger and Vanessa and their newest addition, baby Danika! What a sweetheart! I love when parents bring things/props that express their character. Roger brought his dirt bike gear and Vanessa brought her horse riding gear. Even her horse's saddle which was so beautiful and intricate!
