PPOC "Pictorial/Scenic" Accreditation 2011
So we finally got our results back from the PPOC (Professional
Photographer's of Canada) September Accreditation and I got my
"Pictorial/Scenic" Accreditation!!!! All ten of my images were accepted and thus

Angel & her Daughters 2011
On a gorgeous evening I had the privilege of photographing Angel and her two beautiful daughters. They were the greatest models and I truly enjoyed spending time with them at the historic train station in Fort Saskatchewan. Thank you so much Angel for choosing me to photograph your family:)

Inca Burial Tombs in Peru 2011
Hello!
So I'm testing the connectivity of my blog, twitter, and Facebook accounts. I thought I'd share a photo from my recent trip to Peru. We visited the sacred valley near Cusco to see all the Inca sites. The Incas were pretty clever making terraces on the mountain sides to grow their crops on. It was a spectacular view up in cloud country!!
One of the Inca sites contained a mass burial ground where the Incas had buried hundreds of their people in a mountain side. It was interesting how they had dug holes in the cliff side to seal in their dead. Makes you wonder how they got up there and dug the holes, let alone carry the bodies of the deceased.
Here's a series of photos of the cliff side where the tombs are. There is the whole view of all the tombs and then the detailed shots where you can see bones exposed to the elements.

ACTSS 2012 Calendar Pets
Hello!
Well I've finally finished photographing the pets for the ACTSS (Animal Cancer Therapy Subsidization Society) 2012 Calendar! It's been so wonderful to meet all the families and their precious pets who all have had cancer or are still fighting it. This charity is so amazing because it helps families that can't afford to pay for the expensive cancer treatment for their pets. I'm excited and feel privileged to help these wonderful pets with cancer.
